Milliken Chemical (Spartanburg, South Carolina / USA; www.millikenchemical.com) has completed the acquisition of pigment and additive dispersions producer Rebus (Aston, Pennsylvania / USA; www.rebusinc.net). Rebus manufactures pigment and additive dispersions for the thermoset plastics and high performance industrial coatings markets. Milliken said it will continue operations at Rebus’ existing facility in Aston.

“Rebus is an excellent fit for Milliken, given our existing expertise in colorants and their application in a variety of plastic materials,” commented Joe Salley, Milliken’s president and CEO. Rebus company founder Jim Steever said: “The depth and breadth of products and global reach of the merged organisation will benefit customers with new resources and capabilities.” Steever will continue with the new organisation in a business development role.
