MILLIKEN CHEMICAL
"Millad": New clarifiers for polyolefines
Milliken Chemical (HQ: PO Box 1927, M-400, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29349, USA) is a leading manufacturer of special chemicals and packaging materials. In the plastics area it specialises in clarifiers (transparency enhancers) for polyolefines, colour masterbatches and colours for polyurethanes. Of special interest at the moment is the clarifier "Millad", introduced in 1994, suitable for polypropylene and other polyolefines. The third generation "Millad" 3988 is especially suitable for transparent housewares and PP packaging. This material makes it possible to replace the significantly more expensive materials PS and ABS in many cases.

Milliken's European HQ is located in Belgium: Milliken Europe NV (Ham 18-24, B-9000 Gent). Customers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa are serviced from this location.
