Reconditioning subsidiary NCG acquires US competitor Recycle Inc East
On 1 September 2017, the National Container Group (NCG), the reconditioning subsidiary of IBC manufacturer Mauser (Brühl / Germany; www.mausergroup.com), acquired competitor Recycle Inc East (RIE, South Plainfield, New Jersey / USA). With the acquisition, NCG is doubling its capacity to produce barrels made from recycled plastics and expanding its service in the eastern US, Mauser says. In addition to barrel production, RIE also reconditions steel and plastic drums.
