World's leading plastics fair kicks off preparations for 2028 / New chairperson of exhibitor advisory board announced

Messe Düsseldorf, operator of the world’s largest plastics and rubber trade fair K, has officially kicked off preparations for its K 2028 edition. The first order of business was the election of a new chairperson of the exhibitor advisory board, with Axel von Wiedersperg tapped as the successor of Ulrich Reifenhäuser. Reifenhäuser had led the board since 2004.
Von Wiedersperg is the long-time managing director of Brückner Group (Siegsdorf; www.brueckner.com) and has been part of the advisory board since 2023. He also is a member of the board of plastics and rubber machinery association VDMA (Frankfurt; www.vdma.eu).
The K exhibitor advisory board supports the operator in the strategic and conceptual planning of the trade fair, which is set to take place from 18-25 October 2028.
