A unique event for visitors to "K 2016" is the special show "Plastics shape the future" in hall 6/C40. Olympic starters, world champions and medal winners from Team Kunststoff (www.team-kunststoff.de) revealed their personal highlights from Rio.
Team Kunststoff is the sponsoring initiative of plastics manufacturers in Germany, who have been supporting competitive sports for about 20 years. The athletes present include the national racing and slalom canoeing team, the German lightweight women's double sculls as well as the German opti sailors.
The special show is hosted by fair organiser Messe Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.de) and PlasticsEurope Deutschland (Frankfurt / Germany; www.plasticseurope.org). This year's show highlights the functionality, aesthetics and sustainability of plastics.
