Extended joint global marketing effort with Roctool / Firms will promote combined injection moulding machinery technology
KraussMaffei (Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com) has extended its partnership with Roctool (Le Bourget du Lac / France; www.roctool.com) to help market the French firm’s inductive mould heating technology, High Definition Plastics (HDP).
Combined with KraussMaffei’s Dynamic Mould Heating (DMH) technology, HDP allows components featuring a range of finishes and surface textures to be produced in a one-shot, cost-saving procedure. Under the terms of the global agreement between the two firms, KraussMaffei will offer injection moulding machines from its range with the HDP option. Both companies said they expected to open up new markets and applications as a result of the new cooperative effort.
The technology will be presented at KraussMaffei’s Open House event on 6 July 2017 in Querétaro / Mexico, where a "PX 160-540" of new all-electric injection moulding machine series equipped with a Roctool 50-kW generator will demonstrate the system, producing a box cover.
