New service and sales support office opens in Columbia
At the end of July, German plastics machinery maker KraussMaffei (KM, Munich; www.kraussmaffei.com) opened a service and sales support office in Bogota / Columbia, strengthening its presence in the rapidly growing Latin American market. The new KraussMaffei Andina “offers customers by far the most closely meshed service network in Columbia, Venezuela and Central America,” the group said. The office will be headed by Carlos Cadavid.

Thanks to the new offices, KM Reaction Process Machinery will be able to respond much quicker to service calls. In addition, necessary spare parts can also be delivered quicker than at present, the company said.
