“Plastics 2022 and beyond: From Disruption to Transformation” / 7th KI Group Summit features key industry topics and issues
Under the title Plastics 2022 and beyond: From Disruption to Transformation, Plastics Information Europe (PIE) is once again extending an invitation at K show to discuss some of the sector’s most important topics with leading experts from the plastics industry. This 7th KI Group Summit is being held at K 2022 from 10:30-15:30 on 20 October in the Congress Center South, Hall 1, Room 15 at the fairground of Messe Düsseldorf.

The six sessions feature discussions that focus on the leading issues facing the industry – from prices and availability, to tricky legal questions and problems with supply chains, right through to the circular economy and the use of recyclate. And, as usual, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers after each of the keynote lectures held in English.

Below the speakers and topics:
  • Dimitrios Koranis, Koranis Purchasing Solutions: When prices fly and supply is tight: trends and perspectives in the global plastics markets
  • Christian Lührmann, Kapellmann Rechtsanwälte: Endless threat: How to legally defeat the phenomenon Force Majeure
  • Carsten Schneider, Kühne + Nagel: Will the European logistics sector ever return to normality? – challenges and solutions for medium-sized companies across Europe
  • Jens Hamprecht, BASF: Plastics go green? Opportunities and limits of circularity
  • Jens Kaatze, Wipag: Terra incognita: What are the impacts of a circular economy for the compounding and recycling of polymers?
  • Edouard Garreau, Polytopoly: Between purpose and digital business model: How to push circular transformation, and recyclate use in times of uncertainty
For the first time, at this year’s KI Group Summit – K 2022, the event is being streamed live on KI’s Youtube and Linkedin channels.

Participation is free for customers. You can find the programme with full details of the speakers and a registration form here.
