KETER
Acquisition of ABM Italia completed
The Keter Group (Herzliya / Israel; www.keter.com) completed the acquisition of resin storage systems manufacturer ABM Italia (Ormelle / Italy; www.abmitalia.com) from Italian private equity fund Clessidra (Milan; www.clessidrasgr.it). How much the Israeli group paid for the Italian producer was not disclosed, but in the run-up the sum was rumoured to be around EUR 400m (see also Plasteurope.com of 09.12.2016).
For about half a year, Keter has a new owner – the investment company BC Partners (see Plasteurope.com of 03.08.2016). In the UK, Keter is also planning a takeover of Stewart Plastics (Banbury / UK; www.stewart-garden.co.uk), which produces plastic home and garden materials (see Plasteurope.com of 29.03.2017).
