The Building and Facilities Solutions business unit of Johns Manville (JM, Denver, Colorado / USA; www.jm.com) is set to complete construction works at its thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) facility in Scottsboro, Alabama / USA in April. The measure will lift the site’s output by 20%, JM said. The company did not disclose overall capacity.
The Scottsboro plant first began operations in 2008. Alongside JM’s EPDM facility in Milan, Ohio, it caters to the company’s commercial roofing customers, and illustrates Johns Manville’s commitment to single ply manufacturing, the group said.
