Contract for Terni film plant signed with Poland's Visopack
The oral agreement that was reached between Jindal Films (New Delhi, India; www.jindalfilms.com) and Poland-based Visopack (Torun, Poland; http://www.visopack.pl) in August regarding the takeover of the film plant in Terni (Italy) is being followed up by further steps – according to trade union UGL Chimici, both companies signed a letter of intent to sell the production location including the machinery.

In the coming days, Visopack reportedly intends to present the Italian Ministry of Economy with a plan for the development of the production facility as well as the resumption of the production, which had been shut down.

The union hopes that the former jobs will largely be replaced. As before, Visopack CEO Michael Yanovski did not comment in response to a request for details by Plasteurope.com.
