K.D. Feddersen takes over PEEK sales in Europe

The competition for PEEK manufacturer Victrex seems to be growing in Europe. Chinese producer Jilin Joinature Polymer (Changchun, Jilin; www.zhongyanpeek.com) – also known as Jilin Zhongyan High Performance Plastic – has commissioned distributor K.D. Feddersen (Hamburg, Germany; www.kdfeddersen.com) to handle the distribution of ZyPEEK brand materials in Europe.
Jilin Joinature’s portfolio includes products for use in the automotive and aerospace industries, as well as types for electrical and electronic engineering and medical technology. Christoph Schneider, head of European sales, said he plans to use this partnership to make his company’s solutions “accessible to a broader customer base in Europe”.

Founded in 2006, the company operates a reactor with a capacity of 1,500 t/y in Changchun. It also has a development centre in Shanghai.
