Spanish specialist invests EUR 9m into plant upgrade and expansion / New HQ and innovation centre

Following ITC Packaging’s (Ibi / Spain; www.itc-packaging.com) completed an expansion and renovation of its production site in Ibi earlier this year – see Plasteurope.com of 28.05.2019 – the rigid packaging manufacturer is planning further upgrades with a EUR 9m investment. The measures will focus on its plant in Sopelana, which will receive a capacity expansion through new machinery for PET injection and blow moulding production, such as automation systems and robotics.
Additionally, the company will be moving to a new headquarters next to its logistics site in Ibi. It will also create an innovation centre, where circular solutions and sustainability are to be a focus.
