INNO-COMP
Hungary: The first integrated east European PP compounding company
Inno-Comp Ltd (PO Box 118, H-3581 Tiszaújváros), which was founded on January 1, 1999, describes itself as the first integrated PP compounding company in eastern Europe. It is a joint venture between Tiszai Vegyi Kombinàt Co Ltd (TVK, H-3581 Tiszaujvaros), a Hungarian chemical and plastics company, and PCG Polyconsult GmbH (Vöeststr. 12, A-4501 Neuhofen), a west European-based consulting company involved mainly in the plastics and plastics processing industry. Inno-Comp will concentrate on the automotive, electrical and civil engineering industries in the traditional markets of central and eastern Europe. With a compounding capacity for reinforced PP products of 7,000 t/y and approximately the same capacity for high-grade pipe and pipe-fitting products, the company is endeavouring to establish itself as a “competent partner for companies who are dealing in the above mentioned industries, with a regional focus on central and eastern Europe”. Apart from its range of high-quality products that conform to west European standards, Inno-Comp, with its knowledge of the attitude and requirements of the specific countries, will be able to support foreign companies operating in Europe for the first time.
