Production facility inaugurated in Belarus
Plastic fuel systems specialist Inergy Automotive Systems (Paris / France; www.inergyautomotive.com) has inaugurated its new facility in Stavrovo / Belarus that has been built to serve the fast-growing Russian automotive industry. The Stavrovo Automotive Systems plant covers an area of over 4,000 m² and has a capacity of more than 400,000 plastic fuel tanks annually. Inergy, which is pursuing a strategy of expansion in eastern Europe, said that Russian OEMs in the automotive industry are turning rapidly to using high performing plastic fuel tanks rather than steel.
