As of 1 July 2010, HSH Chemie (Hamburg / Germany; www.hsh-chemie.com) has assumed the distribution as well as the technical and commercial services for German PVC specialist Vestolit (Marl; www.vestolit.de) in central Europe. Building on its existing sales and service network in countries like Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Romania, this agreement with HSH Chemie will allow Vestolit to serve its customers faster, and dispatch materials from a source nearer the customer.

Vestolit regional manager Markus Karch will coordinate all activities with HSH Chemie, where Jan Vrana has been tasked with overseeing all Vestolit distribution matters.

Vestolit says its 400,000 t/y fully integrated PVC plant in Marl is the largest of its kind in Europe.
