The Hisense group (Qingdao, Shandong / China; www.hisense.com) is continuing the integration process of household appliances manufacturer Gorenje (Velenje / Slovenia; www.gorenje.com), acquired in July 2019. The Chinese group plans to separate the operative, manufacturing part of the Slovenian company from its administrative part. The latter will be transferred to Hisense’s new European headquarters in Ljubljana / Slovenia. Gorenje itself will then only consist of production in Velenje and its subsidiaries.

Services used by all units will also be located in the Slovenian capital. At the same time, overlapping sales activities will be combined into a single company.
