GiPlast (Lonate Ceppino / Italy; www.giplast.com) has sold its unit GiPlast Systems (Gornate Olona / Italy; www.giplastsystems.com) to German investment firm SalvatCapital (Paderborn; www.salvatcapital.com) and its compatriot private equity firm SKS Dialoge. The seller’s advisor, Minella law firm (Busto Arisizio / Italy; www.minella.it), announced the news, without disclosing financial details of the transaction.

German law firm Görg (Cologne; www.goerg.de) acted as legal advisor for the buyers. A spokesperson for SalvatCapital declined to comment.

GiPlast Systems is a manufacturer of polycarbonate panels used in the construction of false ceilings, diffusers, roofs, facades and interior solutions. Its parent company specialises in the extrusion of plastic materials for pipes and slabs as well as profiles and Panels, including PC, PMMA, ABS and PVC.
