GE POLYMER LOGISTICS / STUCKI
Reusable pallets and boxes from recycled materials / PC-multi-system pallets
GE Polymer Logistics bv (PO Box 117, NL-4600 Bergen op Zoom – Germany: Stettiner Strasse 54, D-65739 Hochheim) – has specialised in the development, manufacture and sales of reusable plastic pallets. "Gepal" series universal pallets will be marketed under a cooperations agreement with Stucki Kunststoffwerk und Werkzeugbau GmbH (Schötmarsche Str 22, D-32107 Bad Salzuflen). These pallets weigh between 10.5 and 22.2 kg and are suitable for static loads up to 12 t, dynamic loads up to 2,500 kg, and are stackable up to 1,250 kg. A variety of different designs are available; tubs shaped with a built-in lip, with an easy-grip rubber surface or a double-decker pallet. The pallets are manufactured by injection moulded thermoplastic foam technology, mostly out of recycled polycarbonate.
The company sells stackable pallet containers in the "Econobox" range, with either lattice or solid wall sidings with two types of standard surface finish. Types are also available with a movable floor for easy discharge of rubble. These containers are also made from recycled PC. Major advantages of these containers include toughness and dimensional stability, lightness and ease of handling and cleaning. The flammability properties are similar to wood.
GEP and Stucki have jointly developed the Multi-System pallet MSP 4513-0 which will be manufactured from PC and sold by Stucki. Special types include stackable pallets, tub shaped and high load versions.
READER SERVICE: Prospects "Gepal"-reusable pallets and "Econobox" containers: PIE-No. 35619 – Detailed information from Stucki about the Multi-System pallet: PIE-No. 35694.
