Masterbatch specialist announces expansion / Storage added to headquarters site
Austrian masterbatch specialist Gabriel-Chemie (Gumpoldskirchen; www.gabriel-chemie.com/en) said it is expanding storage capacity at its headquarters site, adding around 3,200 m² to its existing high-bay storage.

The company said it will install a flexible rack system, which is to provide 5,000 more spaces for pallets, and add a photovoltaic system to the new building.

According to Gabriel-Chemie, expansion is set to cost around EUR 7 mn and will allow the company to forego open-air storage.

The masterbatch specialist has branches in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Russia, Spain, and the UK, employing a total of around 600.
