Positioning itself as a key meeting point for an industry in transition, the event is to span machinery and equipment, plastics processing, recycling and circular economy solutions, finishing technologies, and materials including biobased and additive innovations.
The exhibition is expected to be structured into five zones: FIP (machines, equipment, and services), FIP Transform (plastics converters), FIP Valorize (circular economy solutions), FIP Decoration (finishing and surface treatments), and FIP Materials (materials, additives, and biobased solutions).
To help visitors navigate the show, organiser Infopro Digital Trade Shows (Lyon; www.infopro-digital.com) has also introduced four themed routes focusing on packaging, mobility, aerospace, and medical applications, enabling attendees to target sector-specific innovations and technologies.
Alongside the exhibition, more than 30 free conferences and workshops are to address industry case studies, technological developments, and strategic challenges, offering a forum for discussion on the sector’s ongoing transformation.
The event is to run in parallel with 3D Print Lyon, a dedicated additive manufacturing congress and exhibition covering all materials and technologies. That show is expected to feature around 300 exhibitors, 6,000 participants, and more than 100 speakers across 80 conference sessions, highlighting the convergence between plastics processing and additive manufacturing.
