Changing its cycle to every three years, the next “Swiss Plastics Expo” (www.swissplastics-expo.ch) will take place in Lucerne / Switzerland from 24-26 January 2017. The last edition, held in 2014, attracted about 5,000 visitors, and established the fair as a leading venue for Switzerland’s plastics industry, organiser Messe Luzern (www.messeluzern.ch) reports. About 350 exhibitors are expected to showcase their latest innovations at the 2017 event, the organiser said, adding that it anticipates a rising number of both exhibitors and visitors to come from abroad.

Key segments that will be represented at the fair include construction, medical technology, E&E, mobility and packaging. The three-day event will also feature an “Innovation Symposium”. The fair is supported by the country’s industry association Swiss Plastics (Aarau; www.kvs.ch).
