UK plastics recycling organisation Recoup (Peterborough; www.recoup.org) has announced a hybrid model for its 2021 conference, Plastics Recycling and Resources, to be held on 30 September.

The annual event had to be cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic (see Plasteurope.com of 24.06.2020). The conference this year will include in-person delegate attendance, and be available for viewing online, moderated by Tom Heap of BBC Countryfile. The day-long event will also offer members and non-members the opportunity to exhibit at the venue.

Anne Hitch, citizen and stakeholder engagement manager at Recoup, says, “We are delighted to be able to offer opportunities for delegates to be able to network and meet in person this year, alongside the ability for remote viewing. We are working closely with the venue to ensure the safety of all attendees and have made changes to the programme, allowing for all sessions to take place in the large auditorium.”
