The 12th “GPCA Forum” (www.gpcaforum.net), headlined “The Chemical Industry in Transformation: A New Journey Begins”, will be held in Dubai / United Arab Emirates from 27-29 November 2017. The annual event is organised by the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA, Dubai / UAE; www.gpca.org.ae), and will feature conference sessions, seminars and networking events. Topics include growth and sustainable chemical industry solutions, long-term investment decisions, today’s megatrends as well as economic diversifications and downstream development in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The organisers expect more than 2,000 visitors from over 50 countries to attend the three-day event. The forum has some new additions in 2017, such as dedicated pavilions for companies from India and China, speakers from the CEOs at Nova Chemicals, Braskem, Honeywell UOP and Gulf One Investment Bank as well as three seminars titled "Collaborating and growing in a fast-transforming global landscape", "Transforming risk to reward: Avoiding catastrophic incidents and improving reliability" and "Leading the way to intelligent projects".
