20th international conference on PET packaging / Concurrent with "drinktec" trade fair
The ICM international congress centre in Munich / Germany will host the 20th international conference on PET packaging and strategies, "PETnology Europe". The conference, a meeting point for the global PET market, will take place from 11 - 12 September, during this year's "drinktec" trade fair.

The conference’s motto reads “Connecting competence into practice.” Keynote speakers include John Galt, CEO at Husky (Bolton, Ontario / Canada; www.husky.ca), and Matthias Niemeyer, managing director at KHS (Dortmund / Germany; www.khs.com). Topics to be tackled during panel debates are sustainability and the circular economy, recycling, PET market trends and packaging strategies, multilayer and barrier materials as well as developments in preform and bottle technology.
