Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE, Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticsrecyclers.eu) has chosen Barcelona / Spain as the location for its annual conference this year, held on 15 and 16 June 2017. Held every year, the event usually attracts about 200 attendees from the plastics value chain, including recyclers, collectors, sorting companies, converters, raw material producers, brand owners as well as academics and decision makers.

Although the programme of the 2017 event has yet to be released, PRE said the conference will take place on 15 June, while its internal working group meetings will be held the day after. The overall theme of the event will be how product design and marketing can help the transition towards a circular economy.
