TEPPFA confirms intention to hold forum in Brussels in early April – security restrictions permitting
Following the recent attacks in Brussels / Belgium, which forced the cancellation of the “Plastics Recycling Show” (PRSE, www.prseventeurope.com) – the second time the event was called off due to terror-related events (see Plasteurope.com of 22.03.2016) – the European Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association (TEPPFA, Brussels / Belgium; www.teppfa.eu) sent out an email saying its “TEPPFA Forum”, scheduled to take place in Brussels on 4 and 5 April, will be held as planned.
“Unless security restrictions imposed by the Belgian authorities prevent us,” the association said, “we intend to go ahead with our event.” Should that change, TEPPFA will send out a relevant notification. The association also said that during its gala dinner, it will observe one minute of silence in memory of the victims.
The two-day event will mark the 25th anniversary of the association, and will focus on the achievements to date, while also emphasising the need for constant environmental attention (for more details, see Plasteurope.com of 02.03.2016).
