This year’s “World Tube Congress”, held in Berlin / Germany on 2 June, will celebrate the 175th anniversary of the invention of the tube. Under the motto “175 Years of Flexible Tubes – And Still Going Strong”, the event will bring together tube producers from across the world as well as machine manufacturers, suppliers and other packaging experts.

Organised by the european tube manufacturers association (etma, Düsseldorf / Germany; www.etma-online.org), the congress will address the challenges and opportunities facing the European, North American and Asian markets, while also providing an outlook on raw material price and capacity developments. In addition, the event will also feature the “Tube of the Year 2016” competition.
