The city of Muscat / Oman will host this year’s “Plastic Pipelines Spring Conference 2014” (www.gulfplasticspipe.org). Held on 7 May, the event – organised by the Gulf Plastics Pipe Academy (Abu Dhabi / United Arab Emirates; www.gulfplasticspipe.org) – will showcase the latest solutions to deliver and distribute potable water, collect and transmit waste water and also examine oil and has applications for plastic pipes.

With discussion topics ranging from pipeline design to construction and maintenance, the one-day event will be divided into two sessions. In the morning, the focus will be on “Industrial and Power Applications”, whereas the afternoon theme will be “Infrastructure and Building Applications”.
