On 3 and 4 October 2011, market research group Pira International (Leatherhead, Surrey / UK; www.pira-international.com) is hosting its 2011 “Pira Packaging Summit” at the Sophia Country Club in Nice / France. The high-profile event – which includes several keynote speakers from packaging giants such as Britvic Soft Drinks, RPC Bepo, Procter & Gamble, Nestle and Amcor, among others – will discuss future scenarios, commercial impact and immediate opportunities for companies engaged in the packaging sector.

First launched in 2010, this is the second time Pira is organising the event, aimed primarily at senior leadership officials. According to the organiser, attendees will glean all the information usually found in a market report, while at the same time enjoying interaction and debates with peers. Each of the conference sessions will be followed by a debate among a panel of experts, affording further perspective.
