The 4th Annual World Polypropylene Congress "PP '95", organised by Maack Business Services (MBS, Moosacherstr. 14, CH-8804 Au/Zürich), is convening at Zürich, September 11-12, 1995 on the subject of "Global Business Changes, Markets and Applications".

Presented will be developments of PP enhanced resins and stabilizations (TVK, Amoco, GE), new high stiffness materials (BASF) and masterbatches FR modified/functionalized PP (Gabriel, Bromine, MBS). PP for mono-material solutions (PCD), for long fibre reinforcement (Hoechst), for low pressure automotive parts moulding (Sumitomo), and TPO's for painting applications are key talks , so are PP calendering, PP foam extrusion, and TPO films for automotive interior trims (Entex, Reifenhäuser, Benecke-Kaliko).

PP in automotive, transport, storage containers, appliances and luggage will be presented by Krupp-Kautex, Commer, Utz, Whirlpool, Samsonite. Fibres, tapes and carpets using PP are subjects of Sekisui, Don & Low, Vestolen. PP packaging advances and requirements are subjects of Wolff, Fraunhofer, OMV, Appryl, Van Dam, Courtaulds, 4P/Van Leer and Mobil. Key issues are economic forming, printing, in-mould labelling, sleeves and novel SiOx coated PP barrier films (MBS).
