A sector group of European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticsconverters.eu), MedPharmaPlast Europe (www.medpharmplasteurope.org), along with Polymer Comply Europe (PCE, Brussels; www.polymercomplyeurope.eu), is organising the “MedPharmaPlast Europe Summer Conference 2021” virtually on 16 and 17 June 2021. Registrations for the event are open; participation is free of charge.

The conference will see day one dedicated to sustainability in plastic medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging and offers roundtable discussions on sustainability in healthcare resin production and drug delivery devices. On day two, main topics scheduled are the European medical devices regulation (MDR) and Brexit.

As part of the PCE Plastics Sustainability webinar series, live webinars on plastics’ recycled content and sustainability initiatives in the plastics industry will take place on 14 and 21 June, respectively.
