Spain’s leading trade event for the plastics and rubber industry, Equiplast, is set to take place from 2 to 5 June 2026 at the Gran Via venue in Barcelona.

Held alongside Expoquimia, the event aims to showcase innovation, sustainability, and circular economy solutions across the plastics and rubber value chain. According to organiser Fira de Barcelona, the exhibition is to bring together more than 400 exhibitors and over 6,600 visitors across a 13,000 m² exhibition area.

The event is expected to connect companies from sectors including packaging, automotive, and construction, with a focus on sustainable transformation and industrial collaboration.

Exhibition areas will cover raw materials and additives, transformation machinery, recycling and environmental technologies, automation systems, moulds and dies, industrial safety, measuring and control technologies, as well as subcontracting and research services.

Equiplast 2026 is also expected to feature a programme of conferences, networking events, and industry activities, including the Rethinking Plastic forum, an international programme, Best in Class sessions, Engineers Day, and a gala dinner.

According to the organisers, the event aims to strengthen synergies between the plastics and chemical industries while promoting solutions that support the transition to a more sustainable and circular economy. Registration the event is currently open.
