3D printer manufacturing expansion in Germany

Electro Optical Systems (EOS, Krailling / Germany; www.eos.info) has put a new plant on stream for the manufacture of 3D printers. Production has been moved from its headquarters in Krailling to the new 9,000 m² building in Maisach / Germany. At the new site, the capacity will increase to around 1,000 systems a year.
"In the first ten years since the founding of our company, we installed a total of 1,000 systems. This figure has risen noticeably recently, and especially in the last two years," said Nikolai Zaepernick, senior vice president Central Europe, who expects demand to increase further and at a faster rate.
