Felix Hüthmair has been appointed vice president of the technical moulding business unit of injection moulding machinery producer Engel (Schwertberg / Austria; www.engelglobal.com) at the company headquarters in Austria. Hüthmair previously served as managing director of Engel in Switzerland and will be replaced in that role by Markus Schertler, an Engel sales engineer in the country for a number of years.

Recently, the company’s automotive and technical moulding business units were under the same leadership. Engel said that by putting the technical moulding business under its own leadership it will strengthen both units, which are continuing to show strong growth.
