Easy flowing flame-proofed polyamide for complex components
Ems-Grivory (Domat / Switzerland; www.emsgrivory.com) has added an easy flowing version of its “Grilon” TSG-30/4 V0 flame-proofed polyamide, developed for thin walled components and parts with complex designs in photovoltaic, electrical and electronic applications. Both grades offer a comparative tracking index (CTI) of 600V and high flame resistance as well as a glow wire value (GWIT) of 775 °C.

The materials provide flame protection conforming to WEEE and RoHS regulations without halogens or red phosphorus and without loss of mechanical performance, the company said. They comply with household appliances standard IEC 60335, relating to unattended applications in the electrical industry.
