Under an expanded agreement, General Polymers Thermoplastic Materials (GP Materials, Clarkston, Michigan / USA; www.gp-materials.com) will represent the ABS & PC/ABS product line of Elix Polymers Americas in North America, the US subsidiary of Spanish producer Elix Polymers (Tarragona; www.elix-polymers.com).

GP Materials’ co-founder, Michael Kirtley, said Elix Polymers complements GP’s growing list of quality producers. He commented: “Their success in the automotive, healthcare and appliance markets in Europe will translate well to those same markets in the US. With their support, General Polymers will help make Elix Polymers a household name in the North American ABS marketplace”.

Richard Yant, regional sales manager of Elix Polymers in the US, added: “Their aggressive growth plans and experienced sales staff complement our marketing strategy and provide Elix Polymers with a distribution partner with a national strategy for Canada and the United States.”
