Hot-mould elastomer “Elasturan” HP from Elastogran (Lemförde / Germany; www.elastogran.com), the polyurethanes subsidiary of BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com), has been developed for a range of "dual-component polyurethane high-performance systems." According to its producer, the new PUR system is an efficient material for manufacturing specialised parts for high-load industrial applications where reliability and durability are essential. These include heavy-load rollers, industrial track rollers, gaskets and insulation elements. It can also be applied in other heavy-use moulded parts such as conveyor belt production, electronic engineering, logistics, warehouse storage, agriculture, road building and snow clearing.
