After releasing its “Sustainable Plastics Strategy” report in December 2020 on the challenges, scope and technology-readiness levels of several plastics-related projects across Europe, the European Composites, Plastics and Polymer Processing Platform (ECP4, Brussels / Belgium; www.ecp4.eu) is now organising its next conference “Strategic Research Needs for the European Plastics and Composites Industry 2021” online, on 21 April 2021.
This year’s virtual conference is expected to focus on trends and solutions for circularity challenges of many plastics industrial sectors. It will comprise sessions on capacities in polymers for multisectoral applications, recycled biopolymers for demanding applications, bio-innovative solutions for packaging circularity, and innovative polymeric materials and coatings for transport applications.
