Distrupol to distribute ethylene copolymers
DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (Europe: Le Grand-Sacconex / Switzerland; www.dupont.com) has appointed Distrupol (Chertsey, Surrey / UK; www.distrupol.com) as sole distributor in the UK and Ireland for its range of speciality ethylene copolymer products. The range, for cosmetic and industrial applications, includes “Biomax” polymers, “Bynel” adhesive resin, “Elvaloy” polymer modifiers, “Elvax” EVA resins, “Entira” resin modifiers and additives, “Fusabond” modifier resin, “Nucrel” ethylene copolymers and “Surlyn” ionomer resin.

Heike Van de Kerkhof, business director for DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers in the EMEA region said: “We are happy to be extending our collaboration with Distrupol. By rationalising to a single distributor partner, we simplify our process to deal with key segments and customers in the UK and Ireland.” Distrupol has been selling a variety of DuPont polymers in markets across Europe since the 1990s under a number of different distribution agreements.
