Calls for entries in 2006 packaging awards / Innovative use of plastics to be recognised
DuPont (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com) is inviting entries to its 2006 packaging awards programme. The deadline for submissions is 5 May. The 19th "DuPont Awards for Innovation in Packaging" are being organised by the US group´s packaging arm, in cooperation with Campden and Chorleywood Food Research Association (Gloucestershire / UK; www.campden.co.uk) and the Food Products Association in the US (Washington DC; www.fpa-food.org).

The organisers are encouraging packaging designers, converters, consumer and industrial packagers, along with equipment manufacturers worldwide, to enter their contributions to innovative product packaging developments. Plastics must be an essential component. Entries need not include a DuPont product to be eligible.
The winners will be announced and presented with their awards in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania / USA on 11 August. Entry forms can be found at www.packaging.dupont.com.
