North America distribution agreement with Nexeo Plastics

DSM (Heerlen / The Netherlands; www.dsm.com) said its engineering plastics business is partnering with thermoplastic resin supplier Nexeo Plastics (The Woodlands, Texas / USA; www.nexeoplastics.com) to expand its distribution footprint for automotive, electronics and industrial manufacturers in North America. Effective immediately, DSM’s advanced material grades are available through Nexeo Plastics, it said. The partnership will leverage Nexeo Plastics’ warehouse distribution network serving Canada, Mexico and the US.
The Dutch company said the “Akulon” PA 6/PA 6.6, “Arnite” PET, “Arnitel” TPC, “EcoPaXX” PA 410, “ForTii” PA 4T/PPA, “Stanyl” PA 46 and “Xytron” PPS lines are available through its North American partner. DSM added that it will continue its partnership with Channel Prime Alliance (Des Moines, Iowa / USA; www.channelpa.com) in the region, but DSM products will no longer be available from Chase Plastics (South Bend, Indiana / USA; www.chaseplastics.com).
