MDI-based range expanded through addition of four new products
The polyurethanes business unit (www.dowpolyurethanes.com) of Dow Chemical (Midland, Michigan / USA; www.dow.com) has expanded its MDI range with the introduction of four new materials.

“Voramer” MN 2314 prepolymer is a highly-processable, cost-effective PU solution for formulating concrete adhesives and sealants; “Papi” 23 high airflow isocyanate is a high performance MDI for use in high-end viscoelastic foams for the bedding industry, providing consumers with quality bedding to achieve a cool sleep effect; “Vorastar” 7000 spray elastomer system has been developed for use in surface protection of porous concrete containment structures and steel exposed to advanced chemical attack; and “Isonate” 128 is a modified MDI offering superior handling and storage stability and is designed to provide ease of processing without sacrificing mechanical properties.
