DOW IZOLAN
Plans to expand PU systems plant in Russia by 2019
Dow Izolan (Vladimir / Russia; www.dow-izolan.com/en), the jv between Dow Chemical (Midland, Michigan / USA; www.dow.com) and Izolan (Vladimir), plans to invest RUB 500m (EUR 6.8m) to expand its PU systems production and storage facilities in Vladimir. The project is expected to be operational at the end of 2019.

The company said it has signed a protocol of intent with the regional and Vladimir administrations, under which existing production equipment will be upgraded to add capacity and enable the manufacture of new products. Dow Izolan will also build 3,200 mē of additional production warehouse with logistics equipment. The regional and Vladimir administrations will provide support to Dow Izolan with required infrastructure, the company added.
