A range of polyols has been launched by Dow Polyurethanes, a unit of DowDuPont's (Midland, Michigan / USA; www.dow-dupont.com) Materials Science division. The four new PU systems of the "Voralux" series ("Voralux HL 500", "HL 510", "HL 515" and "HL 525") have been developed for flex foam applications in the automotive, bedding and furniture sectors. The company says the polyols have a broad processing range that will yield foam consistency and high solids content for efficient loadbearing properties.

The new series is produced in Terneuzen / The Netherlands. This facility is Dow's second largest production site in the world after a capacity expansion.
