Extension of TPU distribution agreement with Italy's Epaflex
DK Kunststoff-Service (Bielefeld / Germany; www.dk-kunststoffe.de) is now offering “Epamould 100” series polyester TPU throughout Germany. The company has agreed on an extension of its distribution deal for northern Germany with the Italian manufacturer Epaflex Polyurethanes (Cassolnovo; www.epaflex.it), managing director Ludger Dieckmann told Plasteurope.com.
Series 100 TPU, with hardness grades from Shore 55A to Shore 95A, is particularly suitable for the production of thick-walled components. According to specifications, the material can be processed easily even at low temperatures due to its molecular structure. The low energy absorption and short crystallisation phase also shortens the production process. At its headquarters in Cassolnovo near Milan, the company has a TPU production capacity of approximately 60,000 t/y.
