“Euro Blue” upgrade launched in Europe

An upgraded version of the “Euro Blue” extruder, “Euro Blue II”, has been launched in Europe by Davis-Standard (Pawcatuck, Connecticut / USA; www.davis-standard.com). Compared with the original model, introduced in Europe in 2004, the new extruder offers improved specifications and processing rates at a “reasonable cost” with delivery times as low as one week. The machine is available through D-S Brookes (Birmingham / UK; www.dsbrookes.com), the company’s extrusion systems European subsidiary which was established in the UK earlier this year – see Plasteurope.com Web of 01.03.2007.
