COM-ITAL
Follow-up: Italian distributor reports regular business operations despite recent fire
Although the fire that broke out at its headquarters on 7 January caused “serious damage”, Italian distributor Com-Ital (Montemurlo; www.com-ital.com) says it is carrying on its regular business “with the highest possible efficiency”, drawing on its other five warehouses in Italy, located in Carpiano, Martellago, Leini, Civitanove Marche and Arzano (for previous coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 11.01.2016).

The company, which distributes polymers from leading industry players like LyondellBasell and BASF, said its job is made easier by the fact that its computer system was not destroyed by the blaze. “Our activity never stopped and is even not going to be stopped,” Com-Ital’s statement reads.
