According to the speciality chemicals group, both products are free from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, inorganic materials, silicones, or polysiloxanes, and are designed for compatibility with food contact and packaging regulations. In addition, the additives align with recyclability requirements under the forthcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
Clariant said users can expect enhanced extrusion efficiency and improved film surface properties – without negative impacts on sealability or mechanical behaviour. AddWorks PPA 101 FG is supplied as a 100% active fine grain suitable for incorporation via host resin or masterbatch, while AddWorks PPA 122 G is available as a pre-formulated masterbatch for ease of use.
