Cincinnati Milacron Austria GmbH (Laxenburger Str. 2461 A-1212 Vienna), subsidiary of the US tool and plastics machinery manufacturer Cincinnati Milacron, is now under new management. Roland Bechtel, previously vice president and managing director of the Blow Molding Machinery Division in Ohio/USA, took over in January as md of the Austrian subsidiary. Bechtel, who has been with the Cincinnnati Milacron group for 24 years, replaces Jim M. Stergiopoulous, who in future will devote himself exclusively to his tasks with the Plastics Machinery Group Europe, where he has headed the management team since 1993. The Vienna offshoot of the US group develops and produces conical double/single screw extruders and extrusion equipment, used mainly in production of tubes, profiles and plates. Some 95% of production is exported.
